Harry Cee
Harry
began his singing performances while attending Washington Elementary in
Harvey Illinois. Always active in church, Harry sang in
church choirs since childhood, and eventually took on the role director as an adult.
He sang with "Majestic Splendor" in the Chicago area from 1975-1976.
At the age of 27 Harry expanded his musical interests and moved into
theatrical musicals receiving rave reviews for his performances in
productions such as "Purlie," "The Wiz," and "Dream Girls."
He moved to
Phoenix Arizona in 1992 and in 1995 worked with "Denali's
Dinner Club." He performed an opening act for entertainers
such as Prince, the O'Jays, Roger and 2app, and Boys II Men. In 1995
Harry was a featured singer at the "Motown Cafe" in Scottsdale Arizona.
Harry has been involved in a variety of bands in the
Chicago and Phoenix areas. He formed "The Soulful Horizons Band" with
the best musicians around in order to accentuate his awesome talents.
This resulted in "Harry Cee and the Soulful Horizons Band" an absolutely
phenomenal band.
Music has always been a passion in his
life. Some of his favorite artists are Luther Vandross, Teddy
Pendergrass, Peabo Bryson, and Donny Hathaway. Their influences as well
as his passion for music are evident in his performances. Whether taking
the stage at casinos such as Harrah's or The Aquarius, or playing an
intimate local venue, each and every show is filled with the dynamic
performance of this most charismatic and powerful artist.
